OUR INSTRUCTORS
 

The Eddison Driving School team is comprised of some of the most qualified and experienced facilitators, trainers and advanced driving instructors in the industry.
Each instructor has been trained to deliver consistent and safe instruction, with the ultimate goal always focused on helping participants meet their driving potential.
When they are not teaching with the  Eddison Driving School, our skilled team is training groups such as police forces, surveillance teams and other high-performance drivers.

HIGH WAY DRIVING
 

 

 

The Driving Experience is a half day introductory program with the morning session starting at 8:30 am and the afternoon session starting at 12:30 pm. A catered continental breakfast is offered before the morning session and a catered lunch is served before the afternoon session.

The objective of this program is to build and reinforce advanced driving techniques through proper instruction and practical repetition. These advanced driving techniques teach you how to avoid and/or handle emergency situations, allowing you to become more confident in everyday driving situations.

SPECIAL PACKAGE
 

 

 

Designed for the novice and enthusiast alike, there are no pre-requisites needed to participate in a Mastering Performance session. It is a full day program that is conducted on purpose-built race tracks throughout the country. Registration starts at 8:30 am, and the day wraps up at 4:30 pm. 

The objective of this program is to teach advanced driving techniques and apply them in a race track environment. This is not a "racing" program; rather, it is a high performance driving program. You will learn advanced techniques and how critical elements such as vision, weight transfer and the use of vehicle control systems ultimately affect traction and vehicle behaviour.

BASIC TRAINING
 

 BASIC-Training  (one-day course)


This is a full-day program to introduce driving enthusiasts to the world of AMG and performance driving. There are no prerequisites required to take this course and it is suitable for drivers with no previous track experience.
The objectives of this program are to introduce high performance driving techniques on purpose-built tracks. This course is limited to 12 drivers, one driver per vehicle, using a fleet of Mercedes-AMG models. Throughout the session, drivers will rotate through the entire fleet and have the opportunity to drive every vehicle multiple times. Helmets are required and will be provided.


In this program, participants will further enhance their driving skills with more challenging exercises, more lapping and increased speeds. It is the next evolution for those who have completed the Mastering Performance program or the AMG BASIC-Training course.

Video and in-car data recording is also used in each vehicle. Professional instructors will review and analyze the findings one-on-one with each participant. The two-day program then culminates with a skills competition and “taxi” rides with the instructors.

As with our other courses, this course is limited to 12 drivers and 12 AMG vehicles. Sessions start in a classroom to refresh participants on proper techniques and concepts, and then rotate through sessions of coached lapping, with some collection of vehicle and video data. The data recorder will collect information such as braking, throttle and steering traces and overlay them in a track map as well as video. This information is collected and then compared to instructor baselines to help with overall driver improvement. You will then have a data analysis session with your instructors. The second day works on more coached lapping with constant feedback and more data and video collection and analysis. The two-day program culminates with a skills competition and “taxi” rides with the instructors.
